Well some good and bad news, I lost a relative about a month ago to the rigours of Cancer which was a little sooner than expected and was a rather sad occasion. My great Aunt was flown out from Croatia last weekend to spend a while with my Nan and we had a big family bbq to Australianise her and even put a beer in her hand haha it was a sight to behold.

Now for the really exciting news, well I had enough money sitting in my bank and thought I could use a more modern DSLR as my EOS 350D while a total non stop workhorse is now falling behind rather fast so I started checking reviews and what not and came up with a Pentax K20D as the winner in my price bracket, I placed my order and paid for it today so in a few days time my new baby a Pentax K20D with 2 Sigma lenses will arrive and I can't wait! I'm keeping my faithful Canon EOS 350D as my backup DSLR and will probably still shoot with it at times but it has paid more than it's dues and for that it now deserves to be rested a bit more.

well its all exciting and I can't wait for this 14.6 megapixel (15.1 megapixel true) monster to show up
